in semi-outdoor areas, such as porches, garages, barns and kennels. The device consists of an electric grid
enclosed by a cage.
The cage also includes a standard light bulb. The top of the device includes a threaded cap to be inserted into
a light socket.
The electric grid is made of metal, while the cage is plastic. A tray is included on the bottom of
the device to trap the insect debris. The tray is held in place by a wing nut, which can be unscrewed in order
to clean the tray. The light source attracts the insects to the cage. The electric components of the grid effectively
